Have had numerous surgeries, actually too many to count on my left eye in order to control glaucoma . These surgeries damaged my cornea and as a result was affecting my vision . Fortunately, through my ophthalmologist in Santa Barbara, I was able to get into see Dr. Shamie. Had the cornea surgery on a Thursday with no pain whatsoever other than an eye that was swollen and discolored. Experience with right eye cataract surgery was so uneventful that i’m eager to have the left side done ASAP. Staff & Drs. we’re top notch. Huge difference from HMO care. Felt I was taken care of by Dr. Maloney & Staff at office & surgicenter.
Hands down one of the best medical experiences I’ve never had. Though the initial phone conversations were extremely bumpy (calling several times to schedule, no follow up, etc.) my experience once I walked through the door was perfection. I’ve told at least 20 people they should only go to Dr. Malonie for Lasik. 5 stars!

staff seemed thorough, surgery went as easily as described and result is excellent. Very satisfied.
My experience with Dr Shamie and the entire staff has been great. My vision was very impaired due to a cataract. Dr Shamie performed laser surgery that was non-invasive with a quick recovery. My vision is now 20/20 and the process has been life changing. I can't express enough how satisfied I am with the service.
