Top quality and personal treatment from start to finish!!!
Was it the most fun experience I've ever had? Definitely not!!!! Was it one of the more interesting experiences I've ever had? Definitely yes!!!! This was the second cataract surgery for me and this time I was more alert and aware than the first surgery. Everything from the first appointment through post cataract surgery visits were handled politely, professionally and every question answered. I have complete confidence that I made the right choice to put my faith and trust in Dr. Maloney and the Maloney Vision Institute. The results are simply incredible. The world is so bright, clear and colorful!! I heartily recommend MVI to anyone without a moment's hesitation in doing so.
The only thing I would break down a little bit more to the patient before the actual surgery, are the four billing components. Facilities, measurements, Anasthesia and actual surgical work. The explanation of your side of the business was perfectly clear when I made the decision, but it would be nice to know the other components and the other people I will need to pay after the surgery. Not a big deal but just something to know, and maybe something that you can't really do because of healthcare law etc.
Everything was so organized and thorough. From the pre op exam to the surgery to the post op. The folder with the many pages of information was so helpful especially the information on the eyedrops procedure. Dr. Maloney is so calm and nice and his office staff is very pleasant. I had the LASIK surgery just one week ago. I felt very comfortable during the entire process. I was a bit nervous at first but after researching the Maloney Vision Institute and meeting the team, I felt at ease. The next morning my vision was 20/20. It's now been a week and my eyes are starting to feel like they used to. The initial haze is gone. It's so nice not to worry about contacts or glasses anymore.
