Very professional experience! Dr. Hura was thorough and attentive, calling and texting the evening of the procedure. Also, examining on Saturday morning, the day following surgery. I never doubted that I (eye) was in good hands.

From pre-appointment consult through the follow-up day after appointment, the Maloney-Shamie vision institute was professional, thorough and kind in working with me. Dr Hura was confident and thoughas my surgeon, that my vision could be restored to pre-cataract sight. My cataract was completely removed and my vision is better than it has been in years! It was one of the best decisions I have made.

I had a very good experience. Dr. Lu was very good. She was like a bundle of positive energy every time she entered the room. Excellent job by her. I felt very comfortable and satisfied with her service.
I’ve worn glasses basically my entire life. I made the decision to get lasik and pushed myself to do it even though I was nervous and scared. I am loving it. The staff was friendly, walked me through everything, made me feel safe and taken care of. Dr.Maloney was incredible and extremely knowledgeable; he made me feel heard and walked me through all the steps.
Very efficient, but willing to spend the time necessary to provide the best outcome. Opted to go with the light adjustable lenses and during the adjustment visits was not satisfied with the early results. The team opted to have me check out some different options which required additional sessions at no additional cost. They took the time to make the lenses work well for me. I highly recommend Malone-Shammie!

Dr. Shamie is an extremely gifted surgeon who changed my life. My vision is so good I feel almost reborn. Just miraculous. I am sorry I put it off for as long as I did. My anxiety was unwarranted as I experienced no pain and the recovery was almost immediate. Thank you!!!!
