On August 30th, 2018, I had a DMEK (partial corneal transplant) with Dr. Neda Shamie as my surgeon. Dr. Shamie is an amazingly, incredibly, talented eye surgeon. I am in complete awe at her surgical abilities. And in addition, she is a wonderfully warm and kind-hearted individual, who is dedicated to her work and to her patients. All Staff members from the front desk, Prep room nurses, surgery rooms and recovery room, they were kind, very friendly, gentle and always asking "how you doing" and etc. Couldn't ask for more. As a physician you are always hesitant to trust someone with your eyes. I did a lot of research and Dr Maloney’s name came up on top of my list of LASIK surgeon a physician can trust. I truly had an amazing experience. Staff is very courteous and follow ups are easy to schedule. Whenever you have questions their highly educated staff will reach out to you within a short time. I highly recommend Dr Maloney!
Dr. Maloney and his entire staff are extremely competent and thorough. In addition, they are prompt and conscientious. Each patient receives extraordinary care every visit.

Distant with left eye, is 20/20. Can't wait for right. Having small issue with reading at 3.25 readers. Hopefully will also improve.
I had some uncertainty regarding the best lens option for me. After discussing it several times with Dr Maloney's office, I decided on the laser-crystal lens option. The procedure went as advertised....quick, pain-free and successful. Dr. Maloney was comforting during and after the surgery. His staff was extremely caring and reassuring during my follow-up visit the day after surgery. I'm eagerly awaiting surgery on the other eye in a couple of weeks.
