This review only pertains to the straight shave I received. I've gotten haircuts here before and they've been great, but I would not recommend a shave. It's nothing personal and this is not meant as a complaint. Only information so as to fix a problem. I have multiple cuts on my chin and had blood spots on my neck from my jawline almost to the neck of my shirt when I got home. I used to go there, but the barber I used moved out of town. He did a good job but everything else about the place was second rate. They had trouble correctly setting my appointment, the other barbers were loud and crude. I have found a much better place and now go there

Came for a hot shave. The appointment was set incorrectly as a haircut so I got assigned a woman at first. After this was fixed this dude with petroleum jelly and a dull blade started hacking at me. He used dirty towels that smelled of mildew and powdered me on my dress shirt. I smell like a baby, my face is burning in pain. He cut me multiple times - clearly had no clue what he was doing - and then they charged me $35. Really an awful experience all around.

Showed the guy cutting my hair a picture of myself after a hair cut I really liked. He started by using an electric trimmer over the sides and back of my head. Before I could say anything he had already shaved off way too much hair. Then he barely cut the hair on the top of my head. Pros -I got a "hair cut" Cons -started with and primarily used an electric trimmer to cut my hair -my hair is very uneven( about 90% of the hair on the side was cut and at most 20% was cut from the top) -the picture didn't help, my hair before... read more

I have lived in boca for 8 years and this is by far the worst haircut I have ever received. The guy that cut my hair was far more concerned with his friends that were there and the girl at the front desk than he was with cutting hair. It's simple, just don't go there.... End of discussion.

Awful service, over priced, person doing my shave missed spots with straight razor and finished shave with electric razor. I can do that at home. All kinds of riff raff associated to the employees hanging out in the shop creating a non welcoming environment. My wife said the pedicure was awful and she would have asked for her money back( hey I'm a guy, I have no idea what a pedicure should be, but she was adamant that it wasn't done well.) let me begin by saying, I received this as a gift from my wife, I'm not a regular patron. I scheduled a morning haircut, hot shave and pedicure. Let's start first with atmosphere, the person doing the haircut noticed their barbicide wasn't the right color,pointed me at the mirror and left me uncomfortably listening to the 3 idle workers talk about bs that frankly, i wan't involved in and didn't want to be involved in. Hours are terrible. They close early. No management. Owner watches on cameras. The employees are ok. There is one girl that works there that every time I walk by has the grungiest friends outside hanging out. The girl up front is cute but there is zero smiles and conversation. I will say they give a great hair cut. One of the employees told me they are thinking of lowering their prices to get more business.
