When I shopped around, I had Fountain Mortgage's offer and people kept saying, 'there's no way they can do that', and 'trust me, this is a bait-and-switch'. In the end, they were wrong. Mark was great, I found the lender on bankrate and I must admit, he was very persistent on talking and getting my business. Everything said by him happened in a timely manner and I would do business with him again. I believe I got a great rate ( for what they are now) and even managed to float down a few days before closing, but I did have to ask for it since rates plummeted over the weekend.

I found Fountain Mortgage on Bankrate while I was shopping for lenders. Fountain Mortgage showed one of the best interest rates and I contacted them. While feds were raising rates daily, they were able to get my rate locked on a Sunday afternoon. I was happy to see lender fees were slightly below average as well.
