This doctor is what health “care” is all about. Very warm and personable. He is also a great surgeon. I spoke with several OR nurses who worked with him in surgery before deciding to let him operate on my torn rotator cuff. All of them said he was the best surgeon in the hospital. Don’t hesitate to get his opinion.
I recently moved to NC and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Messmer in Oxford. When reading the office visit notes after my appointment, I was surprised how much he remembered of what I said. To me, that shows he really listened and cared about my issues.
Great Dr. He was very good at his job and great manners. I would recommend anyone to visit him.
