Dr. Pinto was thorough and explained everything perfectly about my upcoming surgery. He spent as much time with me as I required, answering all of my questions. I never felt like he was rushed. Rather, he went out of his way to make me feel comfortable. Prior to surgery he spoke with me and put me at ease.

He was very. standoffish. he had that air about him you only see in arrogant people if that makes sense. the appointment itself also seemed rushed. The ER wanted me to get an MRI, and instead he did an exam and proceeded to ignore me when i said it hurt a lot, and sent me to physical therapy (i should specify that on the 1-10 system my pain shot up to around an 8 during the exam. His reasoning was that i would have 'jumped off the table', however i 1: don't usually express pain when I'm expecting it. that might be an autism t... read more

Dr. Pinto limited shoulder testing after a major injury to x-rays, and repeatedly refused to do an MRI despite complex symptoms. After many appointments Dr. Pinto said that the bone injury was healed and “Do whatever you want.” Patient followed his medical advice and then got a second opinion due to ongoing functional limitations. Immediate x-ray and MRI testing indicated a LACK of bone healing at the same location plus many additional complex soft tissue injuries. Major activity restrictions were needed to try and advance h... read more

Patient beware!! If you choose to have your surgery performed by Dr. Pinto, you should pray that all goes well. If you have any problems and the surgery is less than perfect, he is NOT your guy. I had rotator cuff surgery in Oct. 2023. I was in excruciating pain for 11 weeks. I made office visits and wrote messages in the patient portal multiple times asking for suggestions for pain management. I had to suggest pain patches. I shared with his PA, Scott, that I was having heart palpitations, dizziness and headaches. Never did... read more

I waited an hour past my appointment time and found him to be rude and condescending. Dr. Pinto was quick to make a diagnosis without examining me or asking any questions. He claimed that my MRI was of such poor quality that he couldn't read it and he didn't believe I had a tear in my rotator cuff, so it must be frozen shoulder. Sent me back to therapy AGAIN despite the fact that I had already done that. I got a 2nd opinion who found 3 tears and a bone spur using that same MRI. Go elsewhere.
