I had to constantly give the same paperwork several times. The underwriter was horrible. I was told it would not take until end of dec to close when we started first of oct. we closed dec 30.

The whole process was drawn out and very cumbersome everyday either received email or phone call asking for more documentation on something if requested up front could have provided in 24 hours

The whole process took a long time (around a month). So speeding up the process would help plus better communication while waiting would be helpful.

We closed on 3/25 and were supposed to get our money on 3/29 and it is now 3/30 and we still don't have the money. We counted on the money being in our account on 3/29 as stated in the legally binding documents we signed. If we were late on a payment, you can bet we would have to pay a late fee. This angered us very much and we feel it is a pretty poor business practice. Matthew did fabulous and we realize this part of his experience was out of his control.
