We enjoyed the food and ambience. Some people who are sensitive to hot spice may find the choice of "mild" spice level to be too hot.
The food is excellent! And the suggested spice levels offered by the staff are right in line with expectations. Probably the best sit down Indian food I’ve have in New Jersey.
We enjoyed a wonderful dining experience at Mauka. We will certainly return in the near future.

Excellent menu, wanted everything! And what we had was delicious! Pleasant environment, attentive service and excellent tasty dishes. Yum.
The food, Service, and atmosphere were absolutely fantastic! I only wish it was a little more obvious that it was a BYOB. We would’ve brought a bottle of wine to complement our meal. But honestly that is the only “negative“ thing I could say. Well done! We will be back!

Mauka is a higher end Indian restaurant. I enjoy Indian food and love the diverse and variety of flavors. Most Indian restaurants are set up for take-out and are a hangout for DoorDash or UberEats drivers, which is annoying when dining there. This restaurant is nicely decorated and separate the foyer from the dining area so we don't need to deal with the unkempt food services.
