Food was excellent. Service attentive. Ambiance was frenetic. Believe it or not the food came out too fast. I felt like I was in a diner atmosphere. Was not a restful experience but would go back for the food!!! Just not if I wanted to dine.
Nicely decorated restaurant, friendly staff who explained many unfamiliar items on the menu. Food was absolutely delicious with generous portions.
Great experience ! Food was very good . We order the shrimp dish and they were large . There was also a white chicken dish that was very good . I do not eat lamb and goat and only chicken breast , meat choices were limited for me . They are plenty of vegetarian dishes . The mango kalfie was fantastic . We will go again

Upon entering, the restaurant is spacious and modern and elegant. The service was spot on - not too attentive but not left waiting either. We enjoyed our entire meal - everything was hot and high quality. Suggestion - add the samosas to the menu :) I am a tough critic when it comes to Indian food, growing up in the UK where Indian food is a staple. I was not disappointed. Prices are right and we did BYOB so worth remembering. I would likely ask for Spicy next time as my "Indian Medium" request was a little mild :) Altogether... read more

The food here is absolutely delicious. Clean, fresh taste, high quality ingredients. The service is good and the prices are reasonable. My favorite Indian restaurant in Monmouth County.
We've been here twice now: once for a romantic Valentine's dinner and once for a family birthday dinner. Delicious food, a great range of options (including vegan!), friendly staff, chill ambiance, and great value. We're so excited to have Mauka in the area. As my husband said, "We're putting this one in our regular rotation."
