Thanks for nothing May Vet …. Booked our spot, got family packed to leave town, loaded dog up to bring to you and only then you came up with the dog couldn’t stay “for not having his papers” which YOU NEVER mentioned on the call to book our spot we told you he had his shots and even the Vet that gave them …. Ever again will I tell folks to use your stay and play services !! Horrible service and no concern from your staff to put folks in such a bind …. So much the Vet tech had “personal business” they were handling and couldn... read more

Let me start this review off by saying that this is about the Northridge May Vet location and not the May Vet Northport location. We frequently take our dog to that location and never have any issues. Below is our story for context. My family and I were scheduled to go on our family beach vacation 8/22-8/29 and because our normal boarding place was unavailable that week, we called Camp May on the 13th or 14th to check and see if they had availability for boarding, as well as getting our Vizsla his Bordetella shot, fecal exa... read more

My puppy who is very sick with Parvo was just turned away from them despite being referred to them by Emergi-Pet. The fact that their website talks about how compassionate they are is a joke. I will be calling Emergi-Pet when they reopen to let them know how unhappy I am they referred me to this veterinarian practice. Luckily, I found a compassionate place in town to take him. If you value your furbabies don’t take them to this place!

We’ve been using may veterinary for years, and usually have great service other than occasional poor customer service from a receptionist here or there. However, they have now lost our service due to not being fair and honest with customers. We’ve taken our animals for their rabies vaccinations every year and have never had a problem with getting only a vaccine 💉. We specifically told them when we called and when we checked in that the only thing our animals needed was their rabies vaccination. I was told twice that someone... read more

We took our rescue Aussie here to get neutered yesterday. He has struggled with fear and anxiety his entire little life. We’ve only had him for 4 months and we recently moved to a new house in Tuscaloosa. Since moving, he has become aggressive with my other Aussie. I spoke with the staff several times and even left a voicemail requesting a medication to help with his anxiety before and even on the day of his procedure. Had I known his needs would not be met at this clinic, I would’ve used a different clinic. Dr. Creamer was ... read more

I normally don’t do things like this but I didn’t want other fur mommies to go through this. My grandmother has been taking her shih tzu’s here for 5 years. She recently passed and I took them in. One of them has TERRIBLE ear infections & dry eye. She took them to May all these years & the symptoms were never treated to the extent they should have been treated. He is 9 & now has severe ulcers in his ears, blood vessels growing over his cornea, terrible allergies, & yeast infection in his nails(didn’t even know that was possi... read more

I love how they tell you one price and when you go to pick your dog up the price you pay has tripled. I use to love the Northridge office but the staff they have now have no ideal what they are doing. If you tell a person a price then that’s what they should pay. I will be finding a new vet they have taken advantage of me for the last time.
