TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The food is freaking outstanding. I tried the hot which coming from someone who eats ridiculously hot stuff all the time was a little too much for me. If you get hot wings somewhere multiply that by 2 and that’s how hot they are. Kaitlyn the manager is super nice and helpful. Use this place whenever you want something to warm you up and good food.
Today was my first time trying this place, and let me tell you, the food is AMAZING!! The chicken is juicy and full of flavor with the right amount of spice. I love it! Going back for sure.
Dave’s Hot Chicken is 🔥🔥🔥 Employees were awesome, very friendly and helped explain the menu, asked about our meal, chatted with us at various times when we asked about the food, murals etc they have. We love that they had murals on many of the walls dedicated to the local McKinney HS! The food was amazing. We tried the Level Hot spice, which was decently spicy but not quite enough for us, so we stepped it up to the Reaper. It was insanely hot which was too much to finish—but felt like dry spices piled on rather than a flavorful heat. The “toast” that came with tender was disappointing plain, white bread which isn’t worth the calories. For $14 a plate, I expected something better. The chicken could have been cooked little more. Drove 45 miles to try....I was disappointed. Just because you get no spice it should still have some kinda seasoning. Chicken on slider kinda dry. Fries were good but seasoning had sweet after taste. The hot slider and finger had too much coating I guess..but they enjoyed the fries. Sauce tasted like thousands island and mayo. Staff greeted us as we came in and very friendly . It was pretty chill.
