TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

AMAZING! I'm not from around here. Hot chicken is new to me and Dave's is my favorite. I get extra hot, but have gotten ghost pepper before. The GP is just pure heat and than diminished the actual flavor. The extra hot is just a perfect blend of spicy heat while maintaining the slightly sweet flavor. Love it!
Came to give DAVES hot chicken a 2nd try at this different location. The food was hot and fresh. Pickles I believe are kosher with great taste and crunch in every bite. I got the number #3 which is a slider. A big chicken tender, mild flavor with cheese on coleslaw and daves sauce on 2 warm buns. Plus another mild tender with great crunch on the side with a slice of white bread and seasoned fries on the side. Drink ordered separate. The chicken is amazingly delicious. Fried to perfection! Much better than the normal Canes and Chic Fil A chicken. Let me know what you think? The service was exceptional. Jennifer was awesome sharing us her thoughts and suggestions as this was our first time. Our first time experience was beyond exceptional. Was so good, we had to order more chicken! We ate it up!
I've never eaten at a Dave's hot Chicken franchise and as of recently since they opened up this new one in McKinney, I've been here about 3 times in the last month. They have great food and this new location is really clean and well maintained. They most definitely gained a new customer.
Service was very good. If you want spicy hot chicken, come here. The crinkle fries are crispy and we're hot. Good place.
