This is by far, the worst experience I have had at an Air BNB location. The property is very pretty, secluded and has tons of potential, but above and beyond that the presentation was terrible and just got worse as we communicated with the hosts. The refrigerator and freezer were dirty with old food scrapings and insects. The toilet had pubic hair on the rim, the bedsheets were stained and had hair on the pillow casings, as if someone just slept in it. Lots of ants in the bathroom and we’re coming out of the corners of joints. Hundreds. Also all throughout the bed and rest or unit. Seemed to be mold or water damage around baseboards.
the big letdown was the hot tub. it was disgusting. never got in it once. had gunk/hair the deck and outside furniture was filthy and had debri all over it. the house was filled with dog hair. the couch had dirt, and God knows what else under it. the sweeper bag was never changed out and stunk. rat droppings under microwave. dust on appliances, especially on top of the fridge. also smelled like dog urine on the couch with stains. cat hair all over the bed. there is rotting fish food for the pond on the deck in a bin that sme... read more
Absolutely disappointing that the hot tub was not working and there was no way the pond was fully stocked as stated in the description. There is black mold growing in the bathroom as well as water stains on the cieling in the bedroom. We had called twice and sent out a message to the host regarding the hot tub issue. It took them until the afternoon to get back to us, and even longer for someone to come out. Place is a great concept and is a great escape. We did have difficulty with the internet (we could not watch anything without it pausing every couple minute). The hot tub had a lot of white film/sediment when the jets were turned on. We also came back from dinner and there were ants all over the counter. The land around the place is all mud/clay.
