I purchased a $3,300 contract for my 2018 Dodge Ram 2,500 in 2021. My truck turbo charger broke down and needs to be replaced. The adjuster went to see the truck and declined the repair because it said that the contract did not cover the actuator which is part of the turbo charger only the turbo charger. I mean how ridiculous is that. MemberCare is just looking for an excuse to weasel out of paying for my truck repair. I am requesting full refund from my credit union for the cost of the contract. I purchased a vehicle with 101954 miles and bought Membercare protection. I heard a rattling noise and brought my vehicle into a service shop at 102174 miles. Shop said the turbo failed and needed replacement. Membercare advised they will not cover because the part failed due to Long Term Wear and not a Catastrophic Failure. Membercare will not cover parts that fail due to use over time. Seems counter intuitive. Parts fail because of use over time.
