Communication is key and Jim Gozde is very responsive. He found me a carrier the same day I spoke to him and my car was picked up the next day. I plan on using Mercury Auto Transport for my next vehicle move.
I worked with Jim Goetz to get my car shipped. We made an arrangement that was different than any of the other brokers that I talked to. Instead of a guaranteed price, he promised to send me the price of shipping when a truck was available. I decided to put my trust in him with this arrangement because he has a very good reputation. This is my second time using Mercury Transport and I recommend for transporting your car. Both times my car has come dirty although that is to be expected. First time my car came in 8 days this time it came in 7. The time frame they gave me was 5-8 days for California to Maryland. My car had no marks or dents that were not there originally. The price they quoted was lower that what I was billed for once they found a driver (only by around $60). The price was around the same price that other companies were charging. Look no further! From the very moment the quotes started flying in, Mercury's stuck out right away. After the initial email with the quote, they shortly follow up with a very informative email to assist buyers during the decision-making process which helps a great deal. They got half the job done. Tracy who helped me was very nice but quoted the job too low. We had two vehicles to be transported. One mini van and a non op truck. They didn’t meet the promised pick up date for either vehicle. We ended up have to get another carrier for our non op truck who was able to get it picked up the next day. When they looked at the national board they say it listed with mercury and said it was priced way to low. So while we hoped to not have pay more that’s just what it took to get the job done.
