Dear: Carl I have had a relationship with Pacifica Senior Living - Hillsborough, Chino, California, since October 26, 2015. This facility has been caring for my mother. I have come to know many of the personnel, from the Director to the maintenance crew. Our interactions have been professional, respectful and courteous. Usually the first person that I now see, during my weekly visits, is Concierge, Angel Melendez. I have been able to observe her interactions with staff and visitors, in a myriad of situations. This place is absolutely stunning!!! I took my babies trick or treating and my nine year old said he wants to live there when he's old lol and I feel the same way as him ����
We had my dad in Pacifica up in Chino, CA. The staff was excellent, they saw to my dads needs, took very good care of him, he was in the transitions area. The rooms were always neat and clean, the food was great. Every Time we came to see dad the staff welcomed is with open arms and friendly smiles. Any thing we needed or wanted they were right there.
My father was there from April 1 2020 to. July 13 2020 when he passed away. When we were finally able to enter his room not only was there furniture that didn't belong to him but cloths boxers blankets sheets. He was in a bed in the middle of a pandemic an none of the bedding was his. Plus the fact money was taken out of his wallet. This facility has failed to mention that there was somebody infected with COVID-19 in the assisted living area, my great grandfather caught Covid from this facility and nobody was notified such as families and friends that it was in the assisted living area. Since he is living with my great grandmother she is now being tested and at risk for Covid along with all of their friends and neighbors in this facility.
