Mesh is the type of restaurant that would be on our default list. I've been there several times now and the food has never disappointed. We sat in the bar, it was lively but not too noisy, we were able to still have our own conversation and not be overpowered by the noise. The artisan bread is a "must have." First Impressions Our first visit to this nice place. Service was impeccable all evening. The bread basket is awesome, a definite must for return trips. The husband got the halibut and would have likely licked the plate if I let him. I ordered the filet and was underwhelmed. It was cooked properly and tender, but no flavor - under-seasoned. Nate was our excellent server. I enjoyed my crab cake with edamame & other veggies underneath. My daughter ordered the pork chop, which was super large & served with Brussels sprouts & sweet potato puree- she said it was excellent & she had plenty to take home. They did have a fairly extensive wine list, including a Pinot Blanc. Unfortunately, they were out of it, but the white wine that Nate suggested as a substitute was a good one. I would recommend a larger portion of lamb chops in relationship to the price. The setting is very nice and the staff is very attentive.
