We were put in an adjacent room that was not able to be temperature controlled. It would blow cold air for 2 minutes and the extremely hot for 2. The vent was directly above us causing our food to get cold quickly. Waitress apologized a few times, but didn't seem to have any suggestions. Food took way to long to arrive. The food also took too long for neighboring table. Manager came out and apologized to them and offered free dessert. He never came to our table. For price of dinner, we expected better service and better at... read more
We spent an hour in the bar before our 6:15pm reservation on a Friday night. The bar experience was fine except that $10 for a beer is high when it is not listed on the bar menu. This was a draft beer not a high alcohol content specialty beer. Wine and bourbon were not overpriced oddly. Beer drinkers beware. Our early dining room experience was fine. Beet salad was good. I ordered scallops and my husband ordered the pork chop. Both were delicious. The problem happened when they seated a group of 10 who were given handouts b... read more
Before we could even order drinks we were asked to switch tables. Once I was able to order a drink I asked for a willet family estate on the rocks, if they do not have that I will take angels envy, The server brought me bullet on the rocks.. I ordered the fillet with truffle mash potatoes, After the second attempt the cook was still Unable to cook a $36 mid rare fillet. Desert was orange brown sugar cheese cake, when attempting to cut into it with my fork it resisted as if I was trying to cut into a piece of rubber. I will a... read more
Disappointing. The atmosphere on the patio was great despite being so close to a busy street, however, the food not so much. The chef seems to be trying to hard to be unique without really accomplishing the goal. My tuna was overlooked & the rice was completely overpowered by ginger & soy - both of which I love. Dinner salads seemed ok, but pretty standard. Given the great location & atmosphere, we are hoping the menu & execution improve.
Mesh came highly recommended by a family friend, but we couldn't have been more disappointed with the food. Three out of four of us ordered the bacon-wrapped scallops as an entree. The scallops were inconsistent both within and across the plates, ranging from bland to being so salty that they were almost inedible. On the whole, the scallops with risotto entrees were far too sweet, with no other distinguishing flavors (aside from the excessive salt in 2 out of the 3). The 4th entree was a rigatoni pasta dish with chicken and ... read more
Ordered the sea bass and it was warm at best and raw. The crab cakes were cold.
The service was slow and inattentive. When the food arrived, one dish was overcooked and another was cold. Upon notifying the waitress of the problem, the promised correction was not delivered before everyone else finished their meals. The manager did not make anything better and provided no accommodation for the miscues.
