I will return again for lunch/dinner, as it was simply wonderful, everything was perfect for the 5 of us celebrating my s-i-l's 84th b'day. We didn't leave until 2:00 . No one bothered us to hurry-up & finish. All in all, it was a perfectly pleasant afternoon...& the key lime pie that was her dessert was"to die for."
Only one vegetarian choice on the menu for main dishes and it included peanuts. A poor choice to put a common food allergy on your only vegetarian dish. I would not recommend this spot to any of my vegetarian friends.
6 of us for brunch. One ordered chicken and waffles, chicken was barely warm and waffles were cold. Lobster bisque was average, wedge salad was average, omelets were fair at best. 2 said the deviled eggs were halfway decent. Service was pretty good. Makers Mark Bloody Mary was liked by 1, the rest thought it was awful. Sorry. Won't be back.
Honestly, i was very underwhelmed. The service was great but food not so much. The $6 basket of bread, which is ridiculous in the first place, tasted stale and tasted like gas from the grill and hard as a rock. I've bought Blue Dog countless times so i know what to expect. I took my husband for Father's Day dinner, the ambiance was nice and the service was good, ,however my filet was just ok, not flavorful and was on the dry side. I was not happy when they charged me 8 dollars to substitute potatos for risotto? If I was told up front there would be an upcharge, I would of just kept the potatos but I specifically asked the server if I could substitute and he said yes. My husband ordered the salmon, it was good and thankfully he shared with me :) Not sure if we will give them another try.
Our service was great. The ceasar salad I had was good, but the steak fritas I had was nothing like it was before. The menu has not changed but how the food is prepared has. Was very disappointed.
Awful, overpriced food. Couldn't even eat my dinner. Appetizers were okay.
