Great location but horrid rooms The location of this hotel was spectacular. We were in easy walking distance to some of Miami Beach's fine restaurants which along with the price was why we chose this hotel. The rooms were artfully decorated but much smaller then expected. The sloping floors, bad mattress, awful cheap pillows and tiny bathrooms made the room uncomfortable. And how did that photographer make a spa tub look like a pool?

Close to the beach Although the place is close to the beach and close to where it is all happening, I think our room seen better days. You could tell that although the facilities were modern the items were trashed by previous occupiers and never repaired. Blinds falling off the rails, kitchen cupboards smashed. It does come with a kitchen however if you decide to actually use it, you ll find no needed utensils. Room cleanliness involved doing the bed and that was it. We did get new towels though. Close to the beach but rooms need to be updated Positives: GREAT customer service and very attentive staff. A block away from the beach. Great shopping and restaurant options as soon as you walk outside the hotel. Check in isn't until 3 pm but staff will hold your belongings for you at no charge. Negatives: Bathroom in room that we stayed had mildew on the walls, a missing tile in the wall by the window in the shower. The towels in the bathroom were really disgusting and crusty. Absolutely delightful Metropole is a hidden gem IMHO. One bedroom apt with full kitchen and a whole foods less than one mile away. The price is more than reasonable. Beach is a 3 minute walk from room, and all the major clothing stores are feet away from hotel. Great r&r getaway. Airport shuttle to and from was an added bonus.

L'ingresso è piccolo e spartano e la piscina è poco più grande di una vasca da bagno. Il personale è abbastanza gentile, ma poco collaborativo. Ottima la posizione, a due passi dal mare e da Ocean Drive. Le camere sono abbastanza spaziose e dotate di una cucina completa, ottime per chi, come noi, viaggia con i figli dato che la stanza da letto è separata dal soggiorno con il divano letto.

Perfect location Parking might not be free and there is no buffet, but it's a perfect location and other conditions are excellent: rooms are clean with kitchens, shuttled from/to airport. Small comfy hotel, I would definitely recommend it and would stay there next time.
