Nice hotel with awesome staff The hotel looks super small from the outside and there isn't much of a lobby, but the location is great! Only a block from the beach, and two blocks from news cafe and wet willies. Room was spacious and comfortable for 2 people (we had a king suite). Room decor was very nice and the staff were supper friendly. They provide as many beach towels as you want (you just have to return them) and the even give you a free beach bag. Old room Room was old and floors were dirty and very slippery .. Portable air conditioner didn't work the bedrooms very hot

The room was great location to the beach. They were accomodating. There is construction going on the back side of the hotel so ask to face the courtyard. I would definitely recommend it and stay here again.

Tagestrip Von einer Suite habe ich wesentlich mehr erwartet. Für mich keine 4 Sterne. Lage war sehr gut!
Great Location, Nice Facility ! The reason for our stay was for us to experience Miami and we definitely did! The hotel is small but super cute. Location is GREAT! Rooms were GREAT! Service was GREAT! The courtyard was one of my favorites spots to hang out after a day of walking down Collins Ave! For the downside: room view was not great, and near by construction, although inevitable, was really annoying.

In the middle of the action The Metropole was a good basic suite. There was a small kitchen but it really wasn't stocked with any utensils so you couldn't really use it properly. It had everthing but was extremely small in size so felt crowded. It was also very noisy being right on one of the main streets. The pool is not so much a pool as a child's bath! It was however cheap and it had an airport shuttle too.

Close to the beach but far enough away to be calm. It would have been nice to know that our room faced loud construction that woke us up too early in the morning. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

Hotel was great. Parking was absolutely horrendous. Private company doing valet parking. That was fine. Paid $32 to park overnight. Got there at 3pm. Checked out next morning at 7:30. Parking attendant wanted $30 more. Said we had to pay for that day also. Of course the day before we paid cash because they didn't except cards so we had no receipt.
