We love Mezeh's food. The staff has trouble understanding what people order. Also, one of the dine-in bowls yesterday was dirty. So I asked them to use a different bowl. After saying it 2-3 times they understood. But they put the dirty bowl with the stack of clean bowls! Does this mean someone else will get the clean bowl? I ordered two meals for delivery. It was ordered from Mezeh app but delivered with Doordash. The drink and the sauces DID NOT get delivered. I called the driver and he did not pick up the phone. I called to store in Gaithersburg location and they did not want to handle this problem. The person took my phone was VERY RUDE! I wanted to speak to a manager but the person said was not available. We had to go get our order and waited 2 hours for it to be completed. We were not provided any details on why our order was delayed and why the driver wouldn’t bring us our order. The fact that we had to go pick up our order 1.5 hours after it was ordered and the door dash driver didn’t bring it to our house is extremely frustrating. We have a baby and it’s difficult to mobilize her to get the food.
Hi I am regular customer at the gaithersburg Mezeh. I go there at least once a week. And that too with all my friends. I like the ambience there and food too. The two meals on the attached receipt were prepared missing items: 1. sunflower seeds, cherry tomatoes, tahini, tzatziki 2. pita croutons, tzatziki sauce Both items were bagged and left for pick up. I received my order and first there wasn’t a lot of food. There were 4 falafel which took up most of the bowl under it was a little bit of rice. Usually the bowls are completely full. My biggest problem though was that they left out of my bowl.as you can see on my receipt, I ordered cilantro hummus, regular hummus, spicy hummus, spicy feta dip, baba ganoush and tahini. I’ve been coming here every Friday for months. Usually, they're super helpful and generous with their servings. Today, they were out of many toppings and bases and were really skimping on their scoops. I asked for three toppings they didn't have, so I asked for extra hummus and the lady assembling my bowl gave me snark for asking for more of something. Then, she gave me the wrong dressing.
