My favorite printer! No issues or hang ups Easy set up, easy to place/remove ink. Quality is decent. I love being able to print wireless and from my phone! I pick pictures I want to print on the brother app. There is an option to crop, etc. from the phone app prior to printing the picture. You can also print documents from your phone. Overall my favorite printer and I’ve owned many.
Excellent printer after exchanging the first one received Initially ordered this printer from Amazon and it arrived fairly dirty and slightly scuffed up although seemingly unopened. After running through the initial setup, I went through exactly 15 attempts in returning an acceptable print quality check sheet but the magenta cartridge ran out during the process and the test sheet kept returning issues--apparently the printer chews through a lot of ink when self-cleaning to return acceptable results on the print quality check... read more

Honestly, the best printer I've owned for periodic home use. First off, I have been looking high and low for an affordable all-in-one printer that doesn't take up my whole desk that will print on heavyweight cardstock. This absolutely has fit the bill. It has taken my 80lb cardstock through the optional paper loader without a hiccup. It prints from my phone when I'm upstairs, and doesn't stop after printing one thing to do a lengthy self-check like my last printer. It took very little time to set up, and I'm no techie! Working from home I honestly didn't expect to like any printer. I wanted a cheaper one but this is the only one that would ship timely. It works great. I print, scan, & email my files a few times per hour. SO far so great and after several weeks the ink tanks are still totally full. The quality was worth the extra money and I would recommend this to anyone who prints and scans at home. I do not use the fax feature. Who still uses a fax anyway. The features I do use are perfect.

Small footprint and compact in size Relative size for home MFC (Multi-Function Center). Meaning it is actually smaller than the basic other brand of printer I replaced which was only 4 years old. So far so good, print quality is excellent, easy to set up Set up was easy, was done in under 30 minutes, and you can walk away for a few minutes while the machine loads the ink. I had just purchased an HP and could not get it to work properly no matter how hard I tried, so that one is going back. I am very pleased that the Brother installation instructions were very clear, both in the booklet in the box and online.
