Beware! Not compatible with older operating systems and a piece of crap to boot!!! How was I to know? I ordered this printer because I wanted one that would print in black and white only so I wouldn't have to spend a fortune on unnecessary color ink cartridges. Absurdly slow The thing is absurdly slow. Don't get this if you have printing projects of any size because it will take half of forever to get them done.
Not what I expected It’s really slow
Unfortunately, right after warranty expired non-stop print problems This printer worked great for one year, but right after the warranty expired, print head problems suddenly started. Now, *every time* I have to print, I have to clean the black print heads or it will print very poorly. Tech support was no help, of course. This has made a once reliable printer nearly unusable. Product is not what is advertised I'm very upset upon my purchase. We have used this printer less than 3 months and have printed less than 300 pages. Ink is gone and S/N Office Supplies says they shipped 2 years worth of ink in the box. I informed them that they did not and the ink had lasted only 3 months and they refuse to honor their sale of item purchased with two years ink. Junk Printer Lots of cheap plastic, pieces that break easily, an extremely flimsy, thin paper tray, there's lots of open space from the tray into the inner workings of the printer, so it will collect dust and dirt and I can see the rollers getting very dirty with a machine like this. Careful opening up the top to use scanner or copier, the thin plastic hinges on the top of the printer are VERY thin and fragile and so you have to always be very delicate and careful with this "precious" printer. Printer does not work!!!! I understand that our date for a return was yesterday, it we have been pulling out our hair trying to get so,etching to print!!! DID NOT COME WITH A USB CORD VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE FACT THAT THIS EXPENSIVE PRINTER DIDN'T COME WITH A USB CORD, IF IT'S NOT CONNECTED TO THE COMPUTER IT SAYS "OFF LINE" EVEN THOUGH IT IS SUPPOSED TO WORK THROUGH THE WIFI, NOT HAPPY AT ALL. THE TEST PRINT PAGE WAS FINE BUT THE COLORS WERE NOT VERY GOOD DUE TO BEING TOO LIGHT IN COLOR.
