It was an easy set up on all devices (phone Just received this and installed it today. It was an easy set up on all devices (phone, computer and tablets). Came with 2 year supply of ink. Purchased this to replace a HP printer which had printer head issues. This printer came highly recommended. Looking forward to seeing how it performs. So far so good...
Best printer I’ve ever tried We have used other big name printers for a long time and this is the fist time using a Brother printer. I am very impressed with how well it works. Would definitely recommend this printer over the other big name printers.
Dependable With a Few Flaws Overall, this is a great printer. Setup is quick and easy. I love that I can change the ink without having to open up the entire printer like I did with my old model from another brand - it’s super simple to have the small ink door on the front of the unit. I also love that this unit comes with extra ink, which was the main reason I purchased. Three Stars Super slow.
SETUP FOR MAC AND IPHONE WAS EASY - NO PROBLEMS & FAIRLY QUICK not sure why others complain about setup. I found it quick and simple. Mac computer and iPhone user here. Had printer, computer and iPhone all hooked up and ready to print in about 30 minutes. Prints fine - no complaints. Quality very good. I have not tried printing photos using photo paper yet BUT that wasn't my original intention. I was looking for a good printer with cheap ink.
Best printer I have ever owned I have owned quite a few brands of printers over the last 30 years and this printer is the best I have ever owned. Easy to setup and to operate. Scanning is a breeze which was not the case with my last multipurpose.
Good printer, annoying software. It is working fine. I was able to set it up through my home network via one-touch WPS (whatever that is) so every computer in my house that uses wifi network can print to it. Printing quality has looked good, so far just printing on paper in b/w and color, have not tried using photo-paper. It can be a bit hard to read the menu screen down on side of printer (not an issue if you put it somewhere high).
