Meets My Needs and Expectations This printer does everything I want it to do. It is easy to operate, economical, and has not failed in any way.
Trouble getting it working properly I have several similar Brother printers that I am very happy with. When I got this one, I was disappointed. I spent many hours getting Paperport to work and finally bought it from Kofax and had them walk me through uninstalling the old version and reinstalling it. The printer seemed to take a lot of power as when I printed something, it rebooted my computer, I believe because the surge protector it was plugged into caused a failure. Great Printer This is a great printer. It functions almost flawlessly; it works great with a Windows PC.
Fair Over-all it's fair. It just doesn't feel as sturdy as prior models I've had. I can't get it to pull single feed sheets through straight. Letterhead, labels or special paper pull so the text is on an angle. I have to put it in the paper try and over-ride the settings. The wifi printing from a mobile device is clunky and so time consuming I gave up trying to set it up.
