Home printer/scanner, mono laser Easy to assemble & install. Software simple to follow and does all it is supposed to. Might take issue with scan to file utility : does not allow to overwrite an existing file with a warning (Windows standard) but changes the given file name instead. Should be a Yes/No choice. Can't fault the device though. Good choice.
Great perfomance! I purchased this printer on the recommendation of a friend and am really glad that I did! It was easy to set up and it is very user friendly!
The BEST PRINTERS EVER I have owned Several printers over my lifetime ie’s: Canons, and HP’s but there is nothing better than a Brother printer. I actually own 2 - the other is a MFC2350. I am a tax preparer and also work at home. I use them for printing out my clients tax returns and excel spreadsheets. It just works. That's what every printer should do After bad experiences with the other big names in printers, I followed the reviews and went for this Brother all-in-one. And is just works. No fuss. No hiccups. No glitches. No drama. It's at home on our network. Print quality is excellent. Scanning is smooth and sharp. Love it!
Very good so far Purchased this as a replacement for a defective Brother MFC scanner/printer
Good All in One printer Easy to set up and sync to my (Apple) computer. I can be in the bedroom and press print and presto - the printer in the office prints off what I need. All in one is great for scanning and photocopying. I can't give it full marks because I've only had it for a month or so. If this printer lasts for more than 5 years then it will get full stars. I had a Brother black and white printer before this and it lasted forever - forced to change it as the software wouldn't work on my computer anymore.
power button issue It all works as it should except for the on/off button. If you don't press it long enough or press it too long then the printer will start up but will not print. The only way to turn it off, is to pull the plug out of the wall socket and then reinsert it. The printer will then turn itself on and function normally.
