Having owned well-trained dogs all my life, I joined Midwest Dog Training in 2007 to team up with the founder. Having good success with Midwest Dog Training’s system, I decided to dedicate my livelihood to training dogs. Since I purchased it in 2009, I have successfully trained well over 2,000 dogs. They are the best!! Took our hyper farm pups and got them to a level of discipline where they are listening, not jumping on us, and can now come in the house without making this chaos! 10/10 totally worth the investment!!

We adopted Diesel from a shelter when she was four months old. For the most part she was pretty good but she had a few bad habits that seemed to get worse with time. She barked aggressively at other dogs when we went on walks. She would also bark uncontrollably at one of our other dogs out of jealousy at times. AMAZING!!! Rosey is the second dog I have had trained by Chris to use for Animal-Assisted Therapy with my clients as well as the family pet. He took an unruly and anxious puppy and trained her into the calm, confident, and loveable dog I knew she had the potential to be. 5 STARS. Amazing transformation in our Great Dane/Lab dog 12 mo. old. I cannot believe the complete turn around after the 3 week program! Our dog was rescued from a local kill shelter, and had been returned 2x already when we adopted him. He had a sweet disposition, but was a chewer, barker, and jumper, and in serious need to be Alpha in the home. His bad behavior is cured and he is such a loving and well behaved part of our family! Panther is a brand new dog! Thank you!
Our German Shepherd was a different dog when we picked him up. All very good changes. Trainers were great and I could tell by how he would sit next to the trainers. We sent our goldendoodle, Griffin for their three week boarding program as a 12 week old puppy. He's now a 16 week well mannered, no biting, nipping or jumping pup! Very well trained and he still has his super sweet, loving temperament!! Couldn't be happier with our decision to send him for training!! Highly recommend!!!
We sent our GSD/Rotti mix Abby to MDT for the three-week course. She was about 14 weeks old and came back a new dog. Calm, attentive, eager to learn, and everything that we would want in a great companion dog. Chris and his staff did a great job of keeping us up to date as she progressed, and Brian even texted a few pics along the way.
