My son had an insurance problem once it was fixed, Midwest billing refused to rebill even though the insurance said they could. After asking for an itemized bill several times, that never came. We gave up and paid the entire bill. There's no way to bill insurance ourselves without an itemized bill. I was also on hold with billing for 2 hours before giving up. If you have any billing or insurance issues, you'll get stuck paying your entire bill.

Took my son for a COVID test in November. I apparently made a mistake filling out a form, so I was charged the nearly $400 it apparently costs, rather than his Medicaid. My wife talked to someone on the phone and it was supposed to have been fixed, but we continue to receive bills, and now Midwest Express Clinic has sent us to collections. My wife has been on hold multiple times attempting to get this fixed; I am now 1hour and 12 minutes into being on hold myself. 0/10 would not recommend.

This review is for the Griffith location. How do WALK-IN’s go ahead of your app???? I scheduled a time for a reason. Just another greedy doctor that thinks their time is more valuable then yours

Not only did the front desk night woman get an attitude with my 7 year old son and me about waiting in the car due to "corona" but then they billed my Mom TWICE when they said her insurance covered both visits. The best part is when they sent my Mom home saying her UTI is cleared up and she is good to go and then she ended up in the ER 1 week later due to her appendix almost rupturing. DO NOT GO HERE!

I guess when you don't recommend this place because they don't give a Shit about people and don't even have a DEA to prescribe, they conveniently remove it. Thank God I have a 5 star Doctor who cares, and actually has a DEA TO PRESCRIBE. I went to this place with a Fractured foot and begged them for ANYTHING for pain, not even Narcotics and they flat out refused. I had to call my Doctor on his Cellphone on his day off and had a prescription ( non Controlled Substance) in 5 minutes. I was laughed at, ignored and refuse... read more

Extremely rude staff. It shouldn’t take 3+ days for strep results AND if I am calling to get an update, please don’t act like I’m inconveniencing you with my phone call. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Do not go here ! I went 3 times to get a covid test and they are billing my insurance as an office visit and not even mentioning a covid test ( my insurance pays for covid tests). They are scamming us with fake advertising for covid tests. I didn't even go for a visit. They came to my car and swabbed my nose and I drove off !! They need to be clearer what they are really going to charge you! I have called many times to rectify this, everyone is a jerk!!!

Do not go here for a COVID test! They charge for office visit and who knows what the rest of the fees are for, even though they barely assess you and it was completely unnecessary! All we wanted was a COVID test! Then they charge a telehealth visit for results! Go to CVS minute clinic where they do not take advantage of you. This is awful business, Insurance will not cover all of these expenses.

Covid test, took almost a week for the results for myself and Wife. We were told the only way to get the negative results was a virtual office visit, $135.00 and $160.00 for Jackie. Insurance did not cover and the funds came out of my flex account. Then we were told that we could have had the test e-mailed as the hospital did a few month yearly, moneys were going to be repaid to the account. Now I am being told the only way to get results by the VOV. Midwest is totally taking advantage of a bad situation. I love capitalism b... read more
