After a 13 hour facelift by Dr. Delgado that included an endoscopic brow lift, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, lower neck, lip enhancement using my own fat and the evening up of my ears my friends and family tell me I look like I'm in my early forties at age 52. I chose Dr. Delgado because his numerous before/after pictures of his facelift procedures illustrated not just his stunning work but his depth of skill as a cosmetic surgeon. After spending time listening to the goals I wanted to achieve with my face, Dr. Delgado was able to explain exactly how he would go about achieving them. When I asked him if I needed a chin implant, he smiled and replied, "No. An implant is not necessary. You have a very nice chin and will be very happy once the extra skin in your neck is excised." Dr. Delgado is conservative in his approach and works to achieve a very natural, youthful look with his outcomes. I remember the first thing he said to me the morning after my surgery was, "Good. This is very good. Nothing looks pulled. I am very pleased." It was also very appealing to not have to go into a hospital for my surgery. Seeing the Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center which is connected to Dr. Delgado's offices in Novato and located adjacent to the Novato Community Hospital convinced me that I had not only found my surgeon but also the location for my procedure. My husband loved the fact that I could remain over night after my operation with attending nurses. In fact he even asked if I could stay the week! The one aspect of my procedure that I did not anticipate and has made me a patient "for life" is the extraordinary care I received before and after my surgery in addition to my beautiful outcome. I had painful swelling following surgery and Dr. Delgado managed it beautifully using medication and pain blocks.. At one point he had me remain in one of his examining rooms and sleep for a few hours until he was sure my swelling was under control. Almost two years after my facelift It is difficult if not impossible to find any trace of the incisions from my facelift. Except for the tiny white line under my chin which is only noticeable if I point it out, all other incisions are hidden in my hairline, the incisions around my eyes have "disappeared" into the natural folds and there is no trace of any work ever being done on my nose, mouth or ears. Recently my 19-yr-old son found a picture of me when I was much younger. He brought it to me and quietly stated, "Mom, you are prettier now than when you were younger." The mastery of Dr. Delgado's work has me looking forward to the next time he turns back the clock for me.....I'm already booked for 2022!

His OR nurse who is a friend and works for several plastic surgeons, recommended him! And thank GOD she did. I am 12 days out from my surgery and already see amazing results. I'm now a 51 year old with a 21 year old body...I have LESS cellulite than I did before the liposuction because as a part of the surgery he includes endermologie. None of the other MD's I received quotes from include endermologie cellulite removal. He's not just a doctor, he's a miracle worker. I had upper arms, inner and outer thighs, abs, flanks and everything in between. I call it "the head to toe" liposuction. He goes the extra mile and he is so available for any questions or concerns. He even texted me on Christmas to make sure I was ok. NOW that's really unusual and wonderful. The other great gift this doctor gives his patients is peace of mind. He is so committed to excellence and a great result that if you are not happy or if you don't heal evenly you can go back in for free (except for the anesthesia) and get a revision. So there really is nothing to worry about. Also his anesthesiologist is absolutely fantastic. Dr. Gaynor was very personable and really listened to what was going on with me after the surgery. He made sure I was feeling NO pain and they allowed me to stay for over 4 hours in recovery before my hour long ride home. A more professional team I've never met!

My silicone implants were more than 30 years old, and while they looked OK they were very firm and I was very embarrassed to hug anyone, they felt like grapefruit on my chest. So I decided to see about a revision. The first surgeon I saw in San Francisco said they were fine and to just leave them alone. He didn't want to deal with them! Then I went to see Dr. Delgado who was very concerned and told me he thought they both were ruptured but were being held in place by the scar capsule that had formed around them. Surgery was scheduled and he was right, I have no idea how many years I had been going around with ruptured implants. Many surgeons don't want to deal with ruptured implants because it is a very difficult procedure to remove all the silicone which is a gooey mess. His scrub tech told me later that they all had to change gowns 4 times because of the mess. I am so relieved to know all the silicone is out. The same scrub tech told me that the procedure took 4 hours because he took his time and made sure it was completely cleaned out before giving me new implants. Other surgeons who may have taken on this procedure would probably have not spent as much time to get out all the silicone, maybe just most of it. I am so happy that I found Dr. Delgado who is a perfectionist at what he does no matter how long it takes. I think it is really important that besides liking the surgeon you pick and liking the results you also look for one who is safety conscious. The whole experience was great, a wonderful staff and wonderful surgeon.

Overall Dr. Delgado's practice lived up to my high expectations. The nurse who performed my treatment was very helpful in answering my questions, and letting me know what kind of result to expect from my IPL treatment. The only reason that I gave four, rather than five stars for wait times is because it is a very busy practice, and I would suggest booking your procedure in advance to find an appointment that fits your schedule.
