Discovered my car had been egged, unfortunately didn't notice until the sun had baked it on the car. Drove up to Mike's and the service attendant radioed the sprayer to really spray the car down. I was told if the egg was still on the car to come around and drive through a few times at no extra cost. I had to drive through 3 times before the egg came off but was only charged for one wash. I thought that was pretty nice of them to do that for me.
Mike's Car Wash on Rt #4 in Fairfield does excellent work! My car is black and I do not see much streaking from the water as it dries. Mag wheels come through spotless and the glass all looks very good. With a coupon, this is the best $10.00 you will ever spend!
I came here before I first visited Mike's Carwash. I read both (2) comments that were listed here. One was positive the other was negative. I decided to take a chance. As I pulled up, I was immediately approached by a staff member. I explained to him that I had never been here before, and did not know what services they offered. Utterly ridiculous for a business to oblige their female employees to wear male ties as part of their work uniform. Demeaning and very old school in a bad way.
Just a carwash. Nothing special. Quite expensive. Staff are pushy and uninterested. Does not clean as good as others in area.Vaccum's are not powerful enough.
It's a good car wash but something is too powerful on the back-have had 2 license plate holders broken so need to find somewhere else
I was a long time customer of Mike's Car Wash . Well my mirror broke going through the car wash last week , I heard it crack , and they refused to pay for it.
Friendly staff, less than satisfactory results, at least for my car. Everytime I go through the wash, ugly streaks are left on my back window. Every single time. The rinse and dry is not effective. I probably would not have even posted this, except that I just had my car washed at the dealership, and wow, what a difference. My car actually looked good after I wash, not like when I go through Mike's.
Terrible experience. Poor communication and 0 guidance led to our front bumper being broken and truck being deeply scratched. Our claim was summarily dismissed by an impersonal form letter. After we followed up, manager insisted we should have magically known that they were ready for us to go through and therefore it was entirely our fault. A search online shows that many people have issues with Mike's damaging cars.
