Don't get me wrong. Great experiences living in at Miller Creek, but the move-out experience with money settlement is less than decent. I went to the office well ahead of 90 days to inform of moving out, at which time the office agent (a girl, not sure her name) said I am all set, who did not ask me to sign any move-out statement. Avoid this place at all cost, or it's going to cost you big! I originally made a decision to return to Miller Creek after another complex I had been renting from had tenants move in that were extremely loud, unruly, & threatening. I no longer felt safe. My original stay was part of a corporate relocation program that fed Miller Creek with new, temporary tenants. This is the nicest place to live in Memphis and was conveniently close to work for me. However, if you looking for something short term, DO NOT live here. The lease termination fee is 2 times rent and additionally, you have to give 60 days notice to not pay for any additional months. I am currently being billed for a total of four months rent by them (2 months rent + lease term fee) which absolutely absurd! I had multiple security issues with this apartment. DO NOT MOVE HERE. I had several items stolen out of my apartment. I had several issues with my garage. The staff was not responsive to my needs. I went several times and my request for service or items was not completed. I had a maintanance person enter my apartment while I was there without any notification. Stay away!! DO NOT RENT! This place is deteriorating. The stairwells are dirty; it's always loud and it takes forever to get maintenance to repair things. The staff is courteous at first in order to get you to sign the lease. They seem to have forgotten who pays their salaries- the residents! I'm glad I'm done with them. Do yourself/your family a huge favor and DO NOT move here! Unsafe, filthy and management will make sure to take all of your deposit. Bad points-Not very happy with the living conditions here. You can hear everything, people rudely let their children run around all night ( even after midnight)and day on the third level and in the hallways... dogs barking constantly at everything, loud music and cars in the parking lot at night. The garage doors are so loud underneath the second floor that it wakes and shakes you while trying to sleep and your neighbors come home at 3am. Wish I didn't have to give a bad review, but this place is going down-hill fast. The hallways and stairs are FILTHY, trash guidelines are not enforced leading to overflowing trash bins and the smell of rotting garbage in the hallways. The photos don't lie.
Don't live here. It's in Memphis, not Germantown (even though it says "at germantown"). Even in the past year since I moved here, this place has gone even more downhill than I had previously heard. There have been multiple attempted rapes, weekly car break-ins and lots of strangers on the property. Every single week, someone breaks the front gate and they refuse to get a security guard at the front. Often, the gates are broken for hours or days.
