Dentist and professional staff seemed very competent and personable. While I was dealt with very gently, I thought I would leave w/my teeth being cleaned after x-rays...not so. Cleaning not until the middle of September. Since I had a 3:00 Dr appt, I asked how long the 1:00 appt would be and was told just one hour. I was there 2 hours, actually ran out before I was finished and was still late to my next appt. That was disconcerting.
Terrible experience This was the worst experience I have ever had at a dentist. They wouldn't clean my teeth! They said the first appointment was only a consultation to determine what "kind of cleaning" I needed. No one told me this on the phone when I made the appointment. I move around a lot so I have many "first times" at the dentist and I have never experienced something like this before. It's obviously a way to make more money without benefiting the client.

The reason for this is to properly diagnose what type of cleaning and/or treatment is needed. In most cases, according to the ADA, dental patients require more than just a routine cleaning. We switched to this dentist in March. Since then they have cancelled 4 appointments. I had a filling in May which has been painful since they did it. Every appointment they have scheduled to check it they cancel the day of.
They are very nice First time I didn't have one of those 'bibs' around my neck to protect my clothing - that was odd Then, I got my standard bag of toothbrush and toothpaste and also included were 2 appointment cards for OTHER patients... My hygienist also was completely unaware of my medical history and assumed I was taking no meds nor allergic to anything - I thought that was a bit odd Finally, they push push push crowns because I'm sure it's a money maker for them
Wonderful Service My experience was wonderful and I greatly appreciate the assistant. who worked with me today. She is my preference for future service if that is possible.
