I owned an R57 for 6 years and wouldn’t recommend Mini of Rochester service. (I bought mine out of state so I cannot speak to sales.) I don’t think I ever had a call returned from service on the same day. Once I ended up calling Towne Mini in Buffalo to get the answer to a question. A few years ago I paid over $3,000 for timing chain replacement and wasn’t offered a loaner. Not very responsive when it comes to returning phone calls very few loaners Carl is nice and so are the sales staff but the dorschel secretary is sometimes unpleasant
Extremely disappointed in the "customer service" I got at MINI of Rochester this morning. I've been going there since I bought a used MINI two years ago and have spent $4000 there in repairs since then. I'm supposed to drive seven hours today but my car started acting up last night and the engine light came on. I went to the dealership when they opened at 7:00 and asked if they could just look at it and they said no; They didn't have a technician on at the time and they were busy and it's not the easy to check the code. Went 65 miles down and back to look at a used, non certified MINI. The car looked nice, test drive was done, few minor issues with it, but ultimately ended up walking away due to their non negotiate policy. This was unknown before going all the way out there, had it been known, I wouldn't have wasted my time. I ended up purchasing another vehicle elsewhere.
