It is a good place for the elderly. The community looks clean and new. It looks like they are doing a good job. There is only one activities director currently, and I think there could be more activities offered. The one assisted living activities director is taking care of the activities for the memory care and assisted living
The staff are very knowledgeable, caring, and go out of their way. I would highly recommend the community to others. It is very convenient to get in and out of. Everyone is enthusiastic about what they are doing. The communication with updates on COVID could be better for the residents.
I am going to be brief although I could write a novel on how bad the place. Do not go there.. I had my wife in memory care for around 4 mouths. I had to go and see every day just make sure she was ok. They tried to bath her only twice but I had to bath her myself. I had to to feed her every day they just gave up on trying to feed her. I would give them all "0" if it were an option. If you love your loved one, don't go here. Do your research, not one should be placed at this facility.
I was not happy with Mirror Lake and I would not recommend them. First they told me there was a nurse on staff, but turns out it's an LPN, not a nurse. The LPN was making decisions on whether or not to call 911 when my loved one got ill. He told me that my loved ones vitals were fine and if he called 911 they wouldn't come and they wouldn't take him to the hospital. I called 911 myself; they took him to the hospital and they diagnosed him with Covid. They sent him back to Mirror Lake and they wouldn't let me see him for five... read more
