Montecatini saved my life. The staff goes above and beyond for anything you need and truly cares about each patient. While there, I felt so safe and so cared for. Treatment is hard, regardless of where you go. But I can honestly say that monte made me feel more accepted and at home than other treatment centers I've gone to. I live 1500 miles away from monte and I left a few months ago, but I still feel a part of the monte fam. It's cool to go back for an alumni event and see staff and have them actually remember you and wh... read more

I am a Montecatini alumn, I received treatment there almost 6 years ago and I started my recovery journey there. The quality of care that I got at Monte was excellent. I was able to connect very well with the therapists that I had and I had plan set before I was done with my treatment to ensure that I would continue with my recovery once I was discharged. I am extremely grateful that I had the opportunity to start my recovery at Monte. The staff is knowledgeable and caring, they also do a great deal of alumni events that a... read more

Residential treatment is hard, and specifically here its even harder. They are very strict and offer very little downtime. The staff is adequate, I would love to say the staff is great but they simply aren't. The CEO seems to care about only money, the insurance review staff doesn't interact with you at all which is odd considering they are working with YOUR insurance. The DON is ridiculous. Her overly bubbly personality comes off as condescending and she very clearly treats her staff differently. Talk about favoritism. Nanc... read more

I do not even know where to begin. I am alive because of this treatment center! I HIGHLY recommend Montecatini Eating Disorder Treatment Center. The staff (intake coordinators, patient assistants, nurses, therapists, etc) have the best interest of each patient at heart. They take the patient in as a person and address the needs individually and personally. The therapists are tough because they know (some personally) the power of addiction and what it takes to break the cycle. I have experienced first hand the power of connec... read more

I went to montecatini in 2014-2016 after having an eating disorder for 15 years and literally almost dying from my eating disorder. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks before I went to monte. They told me if I hadn't gone in within 2 days I would have been dead. My eating disorder and alcoholism and trauma were all OUT OF CONTROL. I walked into those doors, and I was terrified. I didn't trust anyone and I did not want help at all. I didn't even believe I had an eating disorder. Even though I had been in and out of treatment si... read more

I first entered Residential Treatment at Montecatini in November of 2012; I was there until March of 2013, returned in June of 2013 to discharge again in July of 2014, and readmitted once more in September of 2015, to discharge for the last time in December of 2015. I had been struggling with Anorexia for 15 years prior to the decision to go to treatment. Saying I was reluctant to fly across the entire country to "put my life on hold" to receive a higher level of care, is an understatement. But after admitting I knew it was ... read more
