I have seen Dr. Monticciolo a few times. He is personable at first and then can't wait to "get down to business". He is very rushed and works on several patients at the same time. I felt like a number and not a patient. Like cattle...in and out. His staff seems to have good days and bad. Sometimes they are friendly and helpful and other times they treat you as though you are bother. The billing is horrible and there are constant errors. I have been overbilled twice! Too many offices and not enough patient care.
Crown fell of called the office for help (emergency appointment) they didn’t put me in. The wait was one week. How ? with food get into the area really ? Went to same Day app w other dr. That found out I had infiltration in the tooth crown wasn’t cemented well (bad job) insurance didn’t covered the new crown bc fell of before 5 years. Does this sound normal? Went in for an abscess , to one of their offices,and was given a breakdown of my treatment plan and price.Was also given antibiotic. I called office after 10 days because the abscess wasn’t resolved. I did not expect to be told by the receptionist there was nothing they could do unless I paid and moved forward with plan. I was totally going to go for it until I was treated so coldly. Scared me off.
DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST
I will not recommend Dr. Monticciolo at all.
Sad. these people are all about root canals and crowns. It must be the good life when most of their patients walk out with thousands of dollars in debt. Buyer Beware
I've gone to this dentistry for two years. I just learned they have not used my insurance benefits for any of my treatments which are very expensive. I would not recommend this group as they appear to just be out to make big bucks.
Dr. Monica Perez is an excellent dentist. She was our trusted dentist. Unfortunately she works at a clinic that many of us cannot afford.
