The moment I walked into Morada, I had a warm feeling and never lost it. The entire staff is ALWAYS available to us in every way. We have many activities to choose from, both social and informative, never a full moment! This is my home and all the residents are like a great big family to me!
My wife and I moved from our home in 2019 and love it here. It is our home and family. We get to take care of the garden area. The staff is awesome and caring. We love helping our fellow residents. We even got to move our puppy with us. They treat us so well at Morada Deer Park.
They're very caring. The staff really cares about everybody. They make it very comfortable for the residents. It's secure. Overall I've been pleased with everything. A while back there was an ownership change - it used to be the Waterford. Most of the staff stayed the same, but they got a new chef and kitchen staff. My loved one has not been as happy with the the food since then. Options have been more limited. But they have loads of activities, which is just awesome. Morada/ Waterford is a great place for alternative living for the elderly who want to be on their own, but just are not quite able to. They supply all but the furniture, phone and internet service. Dad enjoys the meals and bingo. They have other activities, but he just does not do them.
Our experience has been wonderful, truly excellent we cannot say enough good things about the Morada Deer Park community. They should be getting 10+ and 20+ star ratings.
The community staff is very very friendly, the community is small and very accommodating. My grandad had PTSD and they picked up on that and seated him with his back against a wall to make him feel comfortable. The room sizes are great, and the food is lacking some. But they are working towards a solution with the residence. I would definitely recommend this community.

I would highly recommend The Waterford to anyone finding themselves in need for a loved one. This place is truly a blessing!
Nice place, a bit older, but all included, maid service too. $2500/month for large 1 bedroom. They clean bathroom, dust, vacuum and change sheets weekly, and for $7 will do your laundry. Amenities open, good sized library, 2 librarians live there. [name removed] who runs the tour from Maine.9 minutes from work, can visit at lunch and after work easily, but too far on weekends with the tollway torn up.Not ideal location for us.
