My mom was living with us for the past 10 months. She decided she wanted to move out and be on her own again at age 91, so we chose Meadow Lakes. Now she can eat the wonderful meals they serve, get her hair done right there, play all the puzzles and bingo that she wants, and gab with anyone who wants to gab. We are all happy!!!!!
We were able to meet with [name removed] and take a tour of Meadow Lakes. It was a nice facility with a comfortable and clean atmosphere. We will take this facility into consideration as we make a decision on a place for my parents.
This place was great! Full kitchen in apartment. Luby Cafeteria style meals in dining room. Large outdoor patio. Space to do gardening. Very friendly staff. Several residents told us how they loved it there. It seems to be a very friendly, happy place to be. Nice bright rooms. Wide hallways. Library, game rooms, small store, private dining room, media room, activities room. [Name removed] spent a lot of time with us explaining things.
Everything is going very well here for my love one and I am very pleased with the property. I have had a really good staff interaction with them, they are very friendly and they reach out to us if anything were to happen and give us updates. My first impression of the facility is that it is very clean, the friendliness of the staff and their outstanding service in general, and how well the rooms are kept.
I toured this community and it just wasn't for dad for one it was really expensive and not in dads budget. But it was really outdated and dark inside and that's not inviting. The director answered all of my questions we just had to choose another community.
All were friendly, but everything looked old and worn. They are updating a few rooms at a time. Once done, it might make a better impression.
This community was a good choice. The location is perfect very close to our house. The community has recently been renovated in the past 2 years so things are new and modern. The staff and the residents are always friendly and welcoming. The food is good no complaints so far. The climate control is controlled by mom so she can have it as hot or cold as she wants in her room. There are many activities and events going on to keep residents busy and having a good time.
Small home type setting. Really warm staff. Very clean and even though this is an assisted facility they have many activities for the residents.
My mom is very happy at Meadow Lakes. It is a beautiful and clean community. The interior is spacious and inviting. The directors [Removed] were absolutely wonderful in making us feel at home and that we had made a good choice. The staff is very caring and attentive to my mom's needs. I have dined at the community with my mom and the food is good. They are in the process of remodeling the kitchen so it can only get better. I would definitely recommend Meadow Lakes to others.
