I used to love this place when it was TLC. I took all five of my pets there. I eventually left for several reasons. I recently found out that a friend had a horrible experience here, and I realized that I never wrote a review. I wish I had taken the time to do so before. I hope this is a helpful and not unreasonable assessment of this practice: I always had a problem with Dr. Landry, who seemed truly to have a bit of a "God complex". Two words: SCOPE CREEP! We brought our 11 year old Golden mix to Mountain Ridge due to a pulled and bleeding nail. When I left, I was told $188 unless local anesthesia won't work. Of course, local anesthesia didn't work. Now we're at $488 plus I'm told they want to test for an ear infection. While she was sedated, I received another call, Dr. believes her foot may be broken and would like to do an XRay, $120. Her foot was not broken. $842 out the door including other misc. charges like a $15 plastic E-Collar (which we... read more

How this place manages to keep doing business is anyone's guess. they quoted us $500-$600 for a simple neuter on a 60 pound dog. that's 4-5 times HIGHER than anyone else anywhere. we quickly switched to a better, more professional facility after getting this outlandish quote from this so-called "vet" clinic. the sooner this quack loses his license to practice, the safer the pet world will be.

The staff is very rude! The prices are very high and the quality of the doctors and services and less than professional. I would NOT recommend this animal hospital.
