Absent Staff Unable to add a day to our stay, but only one other guest and plenty of rooms. Unable to access amenities as there were zero staff members. Unable to reach ANYONE by phone on the day of our stay and office was completely abandoned. My husband actually broke his foot on our outing earlier that day and we really needed to check in earlier than 4:00, even if we had to pay extra, but no one was reachable! Amazing pool, but no one to open it. An event worker had to help us get in for a 30 minute swim.

Overall I enjoyed my stay at Mountain Top Inn. Bathroom tub was dripping water loudly when turned off. I had to shut the bathroom door so I couldn't hear it to get some sleep. The house keeper was aware of the problem and had reported it to maintenance as a plumbing issue. Room was rustic knotty pine. Cleanliness was adequate. Location was excellent near the Pine Mountain Trail where I hiked for two days. Front desk host was helpful and friendly as was the house keeper.
A thoroughly delightful inn set within the woods yet close to fun activities! Since I had a knee injury the property was not a good fit. Too many stairs since we couldn’t get our vehicle down to the lower level. Also too many stairs to use pool. That was a shame. Our room at the inn was absolutely delightful! It was very spacious having plenty of room even after fitting 2 queen beds, chairs, a couch, a table, a mini fridge and microwave in it.
We LOVED it! We will be back. Just wish the pool would stay open after dark. The view from the pool was gorgeous! The room was cute, and was perfect size for me and my daughter. I do wish the pool stayed open past dark, that would have been nice, but we really enjoyed the firepit for making s'mores. We will be returning!
