Lovely room.....no TV service or internet service 🤔 The bed was hard. TV was internet channels only. Since the room is in the mountains the TV had no service all no internet service either. Tried to call the office but got a voice mail that they were closed and to call for emergencies. I've never stayed at a hotel where the office closed . I had to hold my smart phone while in the bed over my head. Not comfortable. I have to watch TV to fall asleep especially when I'm not home. Room was very pretty upon arrival. Absent Staff Unable to add a day to our stay, but only one other guest and plenty of rooms. Unable to access amenities as there were zero staff members. Unable to reach ANYONE by phone on the day of our stay and office was completely abandoned. My husband actually broke his foot on our outing earlier that day and we really needed to check in earlier than 4:00, even if we had to pay extra, but no one was reachable! Amazing pool, but no one to open it. An event worker had to help us get in for a 30 minute swim.

Overall I enjoyed my stay at Mountain Top Inn. Bathroom tub was dripping water loudly when turned off. I had to shut the bathroom door so I couldn't hear it to get some sleep. The house keeper was aware of the problem and had reported it to maintenance as a plumbing issue. Room was rustic knotty pine. Cleanliness was adequate. Location was excellent near the Pine Mountain Trail where I hiked for two days. Front desk host was helpful and friendly as was the house keeper.
