RecommendedDr. Smyly and the whole Mt. Hood Pet team were amazing with my dog who has anxiety. I was afraid of dropping her off during her exam, but the staff reassured me that they would take care of her. Dr. Smyly was well informed, very considerate, and gentle with Carmel. They gave me so much information verbally, and in paper to help me better understand my dogs condition. I highly recommend and will definitely come back to them just based on their love and care for these animals.
We have been there multiple times in the last month and couldn’t be more thankful. All the staff and Drs are amazing. They genuinely care for their patients and families. Fast, friendly, affordable care. Wouldn’t take ours elsewhere.
Today was our first appointment with Dr. Nelson....and it won’t be our last. Dr. Nelson went above and beyond to make sure that I understood all that she was explaining to me and when I started rambling all my questions she didn’t rush me and she answered them all thoroughly and made sure to not leave any loose ends. Mt Hood is the best Vet in the area - all of them. IT is run by well educated and experienced women who use Fear Free methods. Very important for all dogs, not just the timid.
It has been years since I had a vet that I felt was 100% into doing what was right for my animal(s) instead of running up the highest bill. Even then I would find a Doctor I liked, but never a whole clinic that was just as great, caring and kind. Doctor Garden and her tech team have been AMAZING to our kitties. Doctor Nelson has been beyond great going over every last detail and possibilites regarding my 6 year old dog.
