Was in pain almost a week. Doctor on vacation. She refused to call me before leaving, despite several calls. I was told another doctor would call. No call. Only given pain medications, which gave me side effects.
Iam not a patient of Dr.Fan but almost was...my mother was told by the doctor she worked for of horrible patient expierences with this doctor and a family member of mine had a botched surgery performed by Dr.Fan...I would not recommended her to anyone
I just went through a D&C at the hospital, and was found to have fibroids and a polyp in the uterus. My doctor, Dr McIntosh, wanted me to take a shot to induce temporary menopause to help stop my heavy bleeding until we can decide how to best treat the situation. The hospital pharmacy didn't have the shot, so I was scheduled for two days later at the regular office. I was only supposed to get the shot by a nurse, as McIntosh wasn't there. It is very difficult to get ahold of anyone in the office. They turn off the phones for 1.5 for lunch. If someone calls you and you call them right back (even within seconds) they do not pickup because they screen their calls. Dr. Fan is the rudest doctor I have ever come in contact with. To be fair, I cannot say she is a horrible doctor. I just did not get to experience any fantastic medical care from her. She made me cry every time I was in the office. Dr. Nancy Fan is difficult to make appointment with. 'Once had to drive to office to make appointment because couldn't get through with phone. She insulted my daughter and told her that her symptoms were all in her head. She was snippy and then walked out as though we wasted her time. I'll NEVER go back.
