RecommendedLast weekend we had to put my daughter’s cat down and the staff could not have been more kind and understanding. They handled everything beautifully. And today she received the sweetest card with the staffs sympathy with seeds to plant forget-me-nots. They are now and will forever be our “home vet” for our other furry family members due to their kind actions. Definitely recommend! 5/5 stars.

My sweet pup had a terrible/traumatic accident on Saturday. Nashville Vet Specialists had him in immediately and comfortable in no time. They brought us in and told us the devastating news he would need to be put to sleep and allowed us as much time with him as we needed. They took amazing care of our baby in life and death... and sent us home with his paw print. Dr. Bennett and the staff at NVS are simply amazing people who are so compassionate during the hardest time of my life. I had to put my baby Biscuit down Nov. 19, 2020 due to respiratory complications and never once did they try to sugar coat anything. They were completely honest with me every step of the way and letting me know that her prognosis was so poor, me spending thousands of dollars with the same outcome would have been just prolonging the inevitable. We’ve taken our dog and our cat there when health concerns couldn’t wait until normal hours with their vet. Each visit was a positive experience and resolved their issues! Sadly, while our last visit was to put down our cat, everyone we encountered during that time was kind and sympathetic - we felt like our cat was loved and cared for by staff, even afterwards.

We brought our cat Cheryl here worried she wouldn’t make it through the night. We drove over an hour to make sure she could have a good doctor who cared. They were amazing. They saved our sweet girl. They were quick to get to her and even met us outside at the car when we arrived. They sent us updates on her condition and were very sweet to our girl through the whole thing. I highly recommend them!! They’re the best!!
