I ordered three fruit trees from Nature Hills Nursery Inc., spent $353.36, I received two of them. But I have been waiting for 24 days, still didn't get the last one . I called their costumer service , asked them to give me time when I can get my order, the lady (I forgot her name ) ,she can not tell me the time, I said ,can you ask your shipping team ? or transfer to them ? she said she can not. These folks are definitely in need of customer service training. In December 21, I ordered two gift certificates for Christmas gifts. To use the certificates, there are dozens of hoops to jump and reasons for not fulfilling their orders. Here it is May 22 and a dozen emails and calls later, and the issue is still not resolved. Instead of being helpful, each time I've spoken to them, I get how somehow this is my fault. Instead of blame game, I just want help getting my gifts to my friends. Please make sure you revert within 48 hours if you plant is not looking great. My experience is that once you receive your plant the guarantee policy will not help you any further. You have to pay for shipping cost and you only receive 50% if at all. It takes ages, a lot of time and frustration to get at least some compensation if at all. Not great service. I am disappointed and this is the last time I order here
BE VERY CAREFUL! I realized after placing an order that I put the wrong shipping address. I called the company within 10 min to change the address. They said the plant could not be shipped to required address, so I asked to cancel the order. They said they would be charging 10% of the total even though no resources had been expended on this order. I asked to speak with the manager who also refused to eliminate the 10% charge. I am still waiting for my Chicago lustre viburnum have spoken to Them twice by phone and they say it is one the way and it is still not here …weeks later . Quite upset ! I need it
Unacceptable. Nonchalant customer service responses. You recieve an automated message then someone contacts you the next day. I was supposed to be notified when my order got sent out, not the day it arrived. If I didn't inquire about the order, it would have just shown up without notice. I have people hired to plant the tree who need a few days to put this in their schedule. I no longer want this tree. I will not do any business with this company. This first experience tells me all I need to know.
I have been doing business with Nature Hills for about 1.5 years. I have ordered 5 things from them... the last 2 arrived dead and and one of them was replaced. The other based on timing not on if the tree was "dead on arrival" or not was not resolved without me paying more for a replacement. While the customer service people are very kind, they are not empowered to resolve this for me. Have ordered from NH often and been very satisfied until today. Accidentally ordered two of what I wanted. Tried to cancel 5 minutes later and am charged a 10% cancellation fee. 5 minutes and they cannot waive the fee??? Customer service is everything to me. There are many other places I can get what I need. I’m done.
WARNING to shoppers. I ordered a $150 Meyer lemon tree in January. Nature Hills Nursery shipped it at the end of March without notifying me to expect its arrival. We were out of town the week it arrived. Had I known of its deliver, our neighbor would have opened the box and watered the tree. We returned from our trip to find the box sitting on the front porch.
