Horrible warranty! Make sure you understand and are up on what it applies to. We ordered $300 of Amur maple shrubs n they were in shipping a week, came moldy and hot, completely dead. The guy who has planted hundreds of trees said they had to be dead when shipped. He knows trees and shrubs up and down. I took photos upon arrival as we hoped they would come alive when planted. Expensive plants. If they are what the pictures show it may be worth it. But here's the problem. The website filters don't work well. Becareful. I'm in grow zone 9A. This app shows 50% of the plants through their poorly write code and filters for max zone 7 (Lilac) zone 8 (blueberries). They should Pay for someone to write proper filters on the website.
Plants were so small they died
No integrity with this vendor. Their website says order in winter and they will ship in spring. I called to verify if I order now they will ship in the spring. Sal rep - yes that is correct. Ordered in winter and shipped immediately! Can’t plant in winter. So I returned them. Now want 40 % restocking fee! We bought three rhododendron bushes and planted them in strict accordance with the instructions, watered them diligently and they all died. So sad.
My tree died not happy
I ordered a Japanese maple. It arrived loosely in its dirt ball. I wonder if it dried out too much. Unfortunately, it died even though I followed the directions that came with it.
We ordered 2 plants Sombrero Salsa Red Coneflower and the blackbeard Penstemon. These plants arrived dry and half dead. We reach out to customer for an explanation and were told that the plant are in a state of dormancy and should come back in the spring. I requested my money back and to return the plants I was told I would have to return on my dime and will also be charged a 40% restocking fee. All three plants that I ordered were root bound. The nursery should have transplanted the three plants during the summer. I don't have a lot of confidence that they will survive. I don't plan on purchasing plants again from this company. Their quality has declined over the years of buying from them.
