Shipping poorly prepared so that when plants arrived, considerable damage to all plants. Unable to post pic but Jasmine near dead from rust infection:(
sENT ME DEAD PLANTS. REFUSED TO ISSUE A CREDIT OR REFUND. BEWARE. THEY SLOW WALK COMPLAINTS AND THEN WANT TO HAVE YOU PAY FOR REPLACEMENTS. MY OTTO LUYKEN LAURELS CAME DEAD ON ARRIVAL.
Nature Hills unfortunately does publish negative reviews on their actual website, to my knowledge. My order for Hollies, which was not inexpensive, with shipping. And which they refused to guarantee was close to a joke. The plants were tiny. The pots were small. The root balls were heavily growing over the pot, no one would voluntarily buy these plants. I ordered a trifecta butterfly bush last fall that just bloomed a few weeks ago for the first time & it’s not a tricolored plant!! I paid for the unique coloration & also purchased the root booster recommended. The plant is completely white & could have been purchased anywhere. I sent a message along with my invoice & confirmation number, as well as plant photos to Nature Hills to see how to rectify the situation and they never responded! I ordered 3 Autumn Frost hostas in size the larger size "1" containers and paid more than $ 30 for EACH plant. I am very disappointed with my purchase that I received on 7/16/21. Nature Hill Nursery placed just a very small sliver of the ordered plant. Had I of known this, I could have easily purchased the same hostas from another nursery in 3 inch lots for around $17-18 each that would have been the same size sliver of a plant that Nature Hill sent. I ordered 2 hydrangias and a dogwood tree from this company. None of them did well and looked terrible on arrival. I told the company, they claimed that it might be dormant so I tried their bark removal test. Still nothing. I think the 70 dollar dogwood arrived dead. The hydrangias have a little growth paid 50 bucks for them. I should have bought everything from home depot; I saw better of both, healthy and nice at Lowes and home depot. I thought the order process was simple and fast, however I ordered trees two years ago and had to cancel because of prolonged shipping delays over heat concerns. I was given a $ credit for a future order that was guaranteed to count towards the next time I purchased something and it was supposed to follow my email address and phone number info. Ordered a plum tree in June. No updates. Middle of August I contact them asking where the tree is. Long excuse not worth typing here. I ask for a refund. Sure, you can have a refund but we charge a "cancel fee" which is $10 or 10% of the order which for me is $19. So, they basically stole $19 dollars from me. Immoral.
I saved up to purchase a Celeste fig tree, what I received was a very sad tree. I did everything I was instructed to do with regard to feedback, but never heard back from a representative, sure had no problem emailing me about posting a wonderful testimonial on their website though. To add insult to injury, the plant never came from this nursery, It’s still had the tag of another nursery, I contacted them, and they informed me that the price for the exact same factory would’ve been $58, not $109... beware of this Unethical ... read more
